UMD Students

    UMD students come from a variety of backgrounds and represent 44 states and 40 countries. An array of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs provide plenty of opportunities for learning and discovery.

    On Campus

    Campus consists of more than 50 buildings on 244 acres overlooking Lake Superior. Our community stays active with 250 student organizations, 16 NCAA sports, and 60 acres of forested trails on the campus’ Bagley Nature Area.

    Duluth, MN

    On the western shore of Lake Superior, Duluthians get the benefits of city life, while enjoying endless access to the great outdoors. In Duluth, it’s just as easy to enjoy museums, restaurants, and live music as it is to hike, ski, or kayak.
